During a press conference last week, RA defense minister Serge Sargsyan answered to journalists’ questions and said that he agreed with former chairman of the National Assembly of Armenia Arthur Baghdasaryan when he announced that the next president of Armenia must be Armenian. “Mexicans can’t run for president in Armenia. Certainly, the Armenian president should be Armenian” said Serge Sargsyan. The latter said that he thought the “41 oppositionists” demonstration initiated by oppositional powers would not be successful since only two or three oppositionists have real opportunities to be elected on a majority basis.
