How to become a U.S. citizen

06/11/2006

The immigration department of the U.S. National Security has decided to make a change in the exam required to take in order to become a U.S. citizen. According to “Washington Post”, those who wish to become U.S. citizens must take harder exams, if such a bill passes. The U.S. citizen applicant must know U.S. history and speak fluent English. In addition, the examiners are allowed to ask questions not listed in the list of questions. According to government officials, this new law will create barriers for the legalization of immigration and will only cause more problems. They believe that this will simply be formal, just like the barrier that is being built on the border of Mexico.
