The Vatican also helped the Armenians

“Being Christian has also played a major role in seizing Nagorno Karabakh and populating it with Armenians,” writes the Azerbaijani “Zerkalo” newspaper and states that the Vatican has also helped the Armenians as a Christian-brother.

“The illegally formed “Opus De” military units of the Vatican fought during the seizure of Azerbaijani lands (“Opus Dei” literally means “Soldiers of God” and it became known to the public after the screening of the movie “The Da Vinci Code”). One of the Azerbaijani politicians mentions that the “Vatican’s Voice” radio broadcast has confirmed the participation of the military unit in the fights; the radio is planning to install its broadcasting devices in Nagorno Karabakh to celebrate Christmas on the Armenian calendar on January 7, 2007.

“The radio station broadcasts its programs in 37 languages and 17 of the 50 workers are of Armenian descent. The radio station’s annual budget makes up 2.2 million dollars. It has shown objective and I would say even hatred towards Azerbaijan several times,” says politician Rovshan Novruzoghlu.

As “hatred”, the newspaper states the opening of the museum of history and architecture of Artsakh which, according to the Azerbaijani, is aimed towards presenting Azerbaijani historical values as Armenian. The “Vatican’s Voice” attached to the museum has called on everyone to bring back all national values of Armenia back to the homeland and spreads the propaganda of visiting the museum to all Armenians in the Diaspora. R. Novruzoghlu believes that the “cultural aid” of the Vatican is a true example of the war of information and the Azerbaijani are losing in that war.
