The heart of Moscow will cost citizens

It’s quite possible that drivers parking their cars in central Moscow will have to pay a parking fee.

“We think it’s quite possible that there will be parking fees for parking in the center of Moscow. Transportation is changing every day and there are more and more cars on the streets, exceeding the development rate of transportation infrastructures,” say municipal officials of Moscow. Moscow is forced to do this because life simply  ”stops” due to the heavy traffic. There is already a limit for trucks entering central Moscow. The municipality has also decided to increase the fee for cars that have parked in an illegal spot and turn some streets one-way. Instead of widening the streets and reducing heavy traffic, Yerevan is doing the opposite: it is making the streets narrower and closing the open streets from time to time. The closed streets with construction going on make city life difficult. The Abovyan, Teryan, Komitas streets have already become impossible to cross. No matter how much they blame drivers for not driving safely, it’s easy to predict that the number of cars and drivers is going to increase year by year and Armenians must come face-to-face with the reality, especially the underground transportation is not developing.
