Ursus arctos syriacus

Don’t look for a dictionary. This word-combination means “Large Southern Caucasus Bear”. While “168 Hours” was trying to draw comparisons between the Armenian national currency and the “puppy” in our last edition, the Central Bank suggested comparing it with another animal. The CB has issued 100 dram nominal value coins in honor of the “Large Southern Caucasus Bear”. The CB has also issued coins in honor of the “hedgehog”. It definitely doesn’t symbolize the power of the national currency, but rather what will happen to citizens as a result of the exchange rate changes. As far as we know, this is something that the Dashnaks thought of, or maybe they exchanged thoughts and opinions.

While the national currency keeps exceeding other foreign currencies, the parliament is trying to find out the reasons and find solutions.
