“Armenian railway” CJSC company may be given managed for a period of 40 years to “a foreign investor or railway administration”. This was what the RA transportation and communication minister, Andranik Manoukyan said during the 41 railway session of CIS and Baltic countries held in Yerevan. “The Armenian government has jointly worked out a program for Armenian railway development with the World Bank and the bank recommends giving the railway to a concession so that it makes an investment to provide good operation and improve the institutional capacity of the railway”, said the minister.
