Recently the OSCE co-chairmen gave an interview in Yerevan, where they said that the next meeting of the foreign affairs ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia would take place on October 6 in Moscow. According to the French co-chairman, Bernar Fasie, following the meeting in Moscow in one week the ministers will have one more meeting, after which they will discuss the dates of the presidents’ meeting in the future. The American co-chairman said that they didn’t expect any rapid solutions, didn’t think that all the difficulties had been overcome, however, they saw that the parties were ready to discuss the issues in details and work to move forward. The American chair says that the only obstacle that doesn’t support the process of negotiations is the lack of mutual trust on the part of the conflicting parties. B. Fasie refuted the rumors in the press writing that he has said in Baku that it was impossible to involve Karabakh in the process of negotiations as a party. The co-chairmen met with the Armenian president and foreign affairs minister in Armenia. Anjey Kasprchik, a representative of the OSCE president, said that they had arranged a meeting of the Azeri and Armenian foreign affairs ministers for the purpose of providing ceasefire on the border and excluding any cases of fire there. Yesterday the chairs were not able to travel to Karabakh since the weather was not good.
