According to Itar-Tass, yesterday the transport ministers of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation 12 countries signed a memorandum on constructing a ring road round Black Sea. The Russian minister of transport said that they will make their final decision concerning the ring road in November. The ministries of the mentioned countries are developing their recommendations to the proposed program of road construction. According to Mr. Levetin, the bank of the mentioned organization and the World Bank of Reconstruction have agreed to provide financial support to implement that program of road construction. The Armenian transport minister has recommended them to consider the interests of the states that do not have entrance to the Sea when constructing the road. According to preliminary estimations, the road will be over 7.000 kilometers long. The mentioned road is expected to pass through Istanbul, Batumi, Novorossiysk, Taganrog, Mariupol, Odessa, Kishnev, Bucharest, Kharkov and Alexandropolis.
