On September 23, the new head of UCR party, Haik Babukhanyan petitioned the oppositional powers to make an “anti-criminal political alliance”. He also said that “Prosperous Armenia” party is under the umbrella of criminals as well but it is out of it partially. According to H. Babukhanyan, the “Prosperous Armenia” is trying to make ties both with the criminal and anti-criminal politicians. The UCR petitioned the “Prosperous Armenia” to revise its political course and announce that it is not in close relations with the authorities and is a part of the anti-criminal political group.
