On September 30, Charles Aznavour and other French singers will throw a concert at the Republic Square of Armenia kicking off the year of France in Armenia, which will last until November 30 of this year. It’s quite possible that Patricia Kaas will also visit Armenia. The price for seats will range from 40-120,000 AMD (100-200 dollars), but citizens will be able to stand and watch the concert. In light of the year of France in Armenia, the films directed by Serge Avedikyan, Fransua Tryufo, Patris Shero, Mishel Haineke, Francis Webber, Patris Lecont and others will be shown in two of Yerevan’s cinemas. The exhibitions of “Comedy Francesi” literature and the Brothers Tarloyan fashion shows will be presented at the National Gallery, as well as the exhibitions of French-Armenian artists, the “France in lights” exhibitions, etc. There will be a classical music concert and French directors will put on plays.
