Based on the Russian-Georgian agreement, the Russian government has given its consent to take its military forces out of the territory of Georgia. The military bases will be dislocated from Georgia by December 31, 2008. According to “Itar-Tass”, this year the Russian government is going to provide 840 million rubles (over $30 million) for that. Some of the military facilities will be transported to Gyumri, Armenia, where there is a Russian military base.
