The U.S. Embassy in Armenia denied the rumors in the press claiming that the U.S. Ambassador to Armenia, Mr. John Evans has given a video recording to the Armenian president showing that the Minister of Environmental Protection Vardan Aivazyan has taken a bribe. “We don’t have any information concerning such a video recording and have not given anything like that to the president. When we receive facts and proof of any cases of corruption, we hand that over to the corresponding bodies of Armenia”, as stated in the announcement of the Embassy.
