Former advisor to the Azeri president, Vafa Guluzadze has said that no referendum would be held to define the status of Karabakh. According to him, organizing a referendum in the territory of Karabakh contradicts the principles of their Constitution. Guluzadze petitioned people not to pay attention to the rumors concerning organizing a referendum in Karabakh. The Constitution of Azerbaijan prohibits organizing a referendum in one region of Azerbaijan only. As for the Azeri, they say that Karabakh is their territory.
