Presses have already touched upon the humiliating “trickery” of universities after August 24, when applicants had read their names on the lists and then had come to see that their names were excluded. This led to the protests of the students. The state admission committee has already discussed this issue. Based on the press release of the Ministry of Education and Sciences, the state admission committee has given a warning to head of the accumulation center Ruben Topchyan for making errors in the computer-based program. Nearly 30 of the students who had their names taken out of the lists have been offered to take distance studying with their chosen professions. Based on different sources, the number of these students is 100, while the state admission committee mentions 30. As for the students whose chosen departments don’t offer distance studying have been forced to change their departments.
