Yesterday Robert Kocharyan cut the red tape in Tsakhkadzor, then sat on
the ropeway and got to the second station. Before getting on the
ropeway, he handed each of the workers envelopes with a 150,000 dram
reward. “Thank you, you did a great job,” said Robert Kocharyan to
almost all the workers as he handed the envelopes out. Kocharyan joked
with one of the workers and said: “Now you have the money to set the
table on New Years’ Eve.” Despite everything, today Armenia has a
ropeway and it functions according to international standards.
