Recently, Armenia’s internet connection has stopped functioning due to an accident in Georgia. Thus, there wasn’t any internet connection throughout Armenia. According to Armentel, the mentioned cable got out of order on August 4. The Armenian government relies on that cable and wants Armenia to become an IT center in the region.
