According to day.az, Azeri foreign affairs minister, Elmar Mamediarov said that there is still potential for the Karabakh conflict negotiations and Azerbaijan is ready to continue negotiating with Armenia. “If there are any suggestions to meet with the OSCE Minsk group, we will agree”, said Mamediarov. In regard to organizing a referendum in Karabakh, Mamediarov said, “First of all Azeri people should return to Karabakh and Matthew Bryza is of the same opinion. It is not right to mention only Armenian people living in that territory when speaking about Karabakh”.
