During the “Barcelona-Ajax” soccer competition, which was held a couple
of days ago, one of the players of the Armenian soccer team Edgar
Manucharyan was injured 14 minutes after the game had started. Sources
said that he will be returning to Armenia, but yesterday his father
Vagrik Manucharyan informed us that his son will go through an
operation in Holland. Vagrik received his son’s awards of recognition
as the best soccer player of Armenia of 2004 during the ceremony held
in honor of the 2004 championship’s award-winners.
