“Alas, people of Southern Caucasus remember everything very well and it doesn’t allow us to settle conflicts here as they do in Europe. They make wars, and then forget about them. But it doesn’t happen in our region”, announced Azeri journalist Alekper Aliev in Yerevan within the framework of a seminar organized by “Caucasus center of Peace initiatives” and added that he hoped he wouldn’t be punished upon returning back to Azerbaijan. He also said that he was ready to collaborate even with the Satan for the purpose of annihilating the image of an enemy and stopping wars. “I believe that the ministers and oligarchs of our countries are patriots and believe that in case of a new war their children will be the first to go to the border to fight. I mean the oligarchs, due to which we are poor now”, announced A. Aliev.
