The public prosecutor’s office of Istanbul has instituted legal proceedings against the Catholicos of all Armenians. The Catholicos is accused of harming Turks’ dignity by announcing that Turks should recognize the Genocide. After that, a group of lawyers applied to the prosecutor’s office to institute legal proceedings. The prosecutor’s office may decide to arrest the Catholicos for trespassing Turkey if it wants.
