George Soros has said that based on the information of the “Open Society Institute”, there is a higher level of corruption in Armenia than in Georgia. Soros said this to journalists during his interview given at Conrad Hotel of Istanbul. “We would help Armenia, but for that we need the help of the Armenian government”, noted Soros. Some analyzers are sure that the recent Georgian revolution was supported by Soros, after which Georgian-Russian relations turned bad.
