On June 28, leader of Azeri “Musavat” party, Isa Ghambar, said that the Azerbaijani authorities have agreed with organizing a referendum in Karabagh. “The Azeri authorities give promises to international organizations before the elections and this may harm the national interests of Azerbaijan”, said the oppositional leader according to “Regnum”. “After elections the authorities see that they can’t do that because people will not agree with them, they change their approach and try to justify themselves in the international community”, said the Azeri oppositional leader.
