The Armenian government are not too happy to hear the announcements of the OSCE Minsk group American co-chairman Matthew Bryza, who revealed several parts of the principles of Karabagh conflict negotiations for the first time. According to the announcement made by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, the mentioned agreement doesn’t concern the referendum because the presidents have already made an agreement on that. “The current disagreements concern overcoming the results caused by the conflict”, writes the announcement. “Armenia agrees that the recommendations made by the Minsk group generally serve as a firm basis for continuing the negotiations, and we are ready to negotiate with Azerbaijan in the framework of those principles. Armenia looks at Azerbaijan’s change in approach as an obstacle for resolving the conflict If this policy continues, Armenia will insist on continuing the negotiations directly with Karabagh”, as stated in the announcement of the RA foreign affairs ministry.
