The newly appointed American co-chairman of the OSCE Minsk group, Matthew Bryza has completed the draft of the main principles of the Karabagh conflict negotiations, which is put on the table for discussion. “We have an agreement, according to which Armenia must dislocate its military forces based in the territories of Azerbaijan”, said Bryza to “Azadutyun” radio. He also said that according to that agreement, Armenia and Azerbaijan must reestablish their diplomatic, economical relations. “There are other provisions such as allocation of peacekeeping troops, international economical help for the region, etc. I mean, the draft is currently being discussed and it’s supposed to serve as a firm basis for organizing a referendum later on in order to define the status of Karabagh. This is the main goal of the draft,” said Matthew Bryza. He didn’t say anything about the provision that the presidents didn’t agree on. He petitioned the presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia to accept that agreement. “We encourage the presidents to accept this agreement” announced Matthew Bryza.
