We are too smart

“Only transitional countries can have 14% economic growth. But in the future, you will have to go along with lower growth marks even if you have the potential to grow economically”, said minister of finances of Holland, Garet Zalm during a press-conference after the IMF meeting on Sunday. This is not his first visit to Armenia, but he definitely doesn’t know how talented the head of the RA National statistics service, Stepan Mnatsakanyan is. He also doesn’t know that Stepan Mnatsakanyan is very smart and can even state an economical growth mark consisting of three figures; he can state that there is 0% unemployment in Armenia and can even provide negative balance of inflation if the government lets him.
