SIL concern, which belongs to the Sukiasyan family, is not the only Armenian potential buyer of Armentel. According to our information, ex-prime minister of Armenia Armen Sargsyan has also applied to buy 90% of the stocks belonging to ArmenTel. He currently lives in London and used to work as an advisor to the head of Alcatel company board of directors. As a matter of fact, head of the board of directors of Alcatel, Serj Churuk visited Armenia last year and met with the president of Armenia. It is worth mentioning that Alcatel supplies the technical equipment for the Viva Cell phone company. Currently, A. Sargsyan works as an advisor to the British Petroleum company in transitional economy countries and it is one of the largest companies of the world.
