The number of murder cases in Russia committed by nationalistic skinheads is going up. This year, they killed over 20 people, as well as attacked and stole from others. There isn’t concrete information and statistical figures because there isn’t any information about such cases out of Moscow.
It is said that the skinheads are the ones organizing the crimes and that there are about 50,000 of them. Besides that, new nationalistic groups called “Slovenian Sous” have formed and are increasing at a rapid pace. The “Slovenian Sous” (SS, which looks very much like the German “SS” of Gestapo) is actively lobbying their nationalistic policy and encouraging punishment for anything going against their nationalistic principles. The French “Liberation” newspaper has conducted an independent investigation and found out that the SS is backed by strong governmental bodies. The newspaper writes that they have met with a trainer that trains these people and says, “OK, come on, I am a citizen of Caucasus, come on, attack me by screaming “Russia””. The French reporter talked to a young man, 19 who said, “We are learning how to fight on the streets. We are doing that for our country. Of course, Hitler was an enemy to the people but he had a wise policy”. The young representatives of the SS said that they had over 5.000 members and over 25.000 followers.
A member of that club, Dmitri Demushkin told the French reporter that street terror was not the only thing they were going to do and added, “We must learn how to shoot, we must guard our streets the whole day. We must also organize lobbying with the help of rock groups. Now there are many train stations that pay us money for forcing gypsies out of their territories. I have personally killed many of them”. The Russian nationalistic groups think that they can’t be punished because they say Russia can’t do anything bad to them as long as there is still a danger for color revolutions. Demushkin proudly said that he often drank tea with officials from the Russian president’s office: “Our club belongs to the “United Russia” party, which belongs to Putin. Russia needs us”.
The French reporter is sure that the most possible version is what this man said, i.e. that they are backed by the president: “Putin’s office is interested in this and they can reach two goals-first, he can force gypsies and drug addicts out of train stations and later show the world that he is democratic and looks very polite compared to those “animals””.
These extremist groups are getting out of hand. The abovementioned article of the “Liberation” concludes with the following sentence, “In the morning, these young Russians are trained in a village near Moscow and sing songs about Russia, where there is no place for others”. A person by the name of Ivan has served in the special armed forces and is the one training them: “Hit, and hit the throat one more time. OK, come on, let’s train. Who wants to be the foreigner this time?” They all train and scream slogans about “dirty pigs”. Even a lady living in the nearby villgae gets insulted and says, “Pigs are clean animals, foreigners are dirty”. At that moment Ivan said, “Do you see? Russians know what we are talking about”. And then he turned to that lady and said, “We will solve that problem soon. We promise”.
Today 50% of Russians like the slogan saying “Russia for Russians”, and nationalistic groups think that they play their role in this.
The French press is not the only one writing about such groups. There are other newspapers that also write that before there used to be such big groups, which were later divided into smaller ones and survived in different territories. Many groups even have web pages on the Internet, where they write about their activities as a mission. On the one hand, it may be too late to fight against them, but on the other hand, maybe the country with its certain interests needs them. In spite of this, many analyzers say that these groups are already out of control.
