In our previous edition, we wrote that a Russian company was interested in buying the stocks belonging to “Armentel”. We also wrote that this company would probably be “MTC” because they had received $112 million from the World Bank to broaden their coverage in the CIS territory. Vladimir Evtushenkov, who is a stock holder of the biggest shareholding company of “MTC”, “Sistema” company, informed “ARKA” news agency that they were going to buy 90% of Armentel’s stocks, which belonged to “OTE” company (registered in Greece). ““MTC” will not participate in the tender of “Mobil 63” company stocks of Serbia. “Sistema” has applied for buying the stocks of Armentel”, said Evtushenkov. According to Russian specialists, $140,000,000 is the proposed sum to be paid for Armentel.
