Today, Tigran Torosyan will be elected as NA speaker and this was a political agreement. This means that the second and third high ranked officials will be represented by the same party, i.e. the Republican party. On the one hand, this means that the speaker’s and prime minister’s positions are given to one party, but on the other hand in spite of this we know that the whole political power of Armenia is under the control of one area and this point is not a political party for sure. Anyway, we think that this was a good solution. His appearance differs from the other MPs and we think that being a representative of intelligentsia he is able to work in the legislative field.
