Answering to the question as to why the newly appointed minister of culture, Hasmik Poghosyan, agreed to accept that position while he doesn’t have any reputation, she said, “The field is not new for me. I will rely on the principles of the political party that moved me up. I have always liked their approach to culture”. We also asked her what the approach of that party was that she liked so much, to which she answered, “Gurgen Arsenyan has provided financial support for many important, cultural events. This is probably the reason why we managed to reach an agreement”.
