“We will believe that he is oppositionist when we hear him say that Kocharyan must resign as soon as possible, when we see him lying on the ground and be threatened by the special police forces, we will really believe him when we see him get attacked and ask for TV broadcast and be refused”, says head of the “New Times” party, Aram Karapetyan, in regard to Arthur Baghdasaryan’s announcement when he said that he was going to become part of the opposition. According to him, the authorities keep distant relations with him and don’t want to accept him in the opposition. Accordingly A. Baghdasaryan is left in the middle of two fields. As Aram Karapetyan says, the authorities are not creating obstacles for him for the time being, but they are using A. Baghdasaryan for other purposes.
