In regard to the fact that Robert Kocharyan refused to participate in the NATO meeting in Paris, RA former minister of foreign affairs Vahan Papazyan told us that the fact that the president doesn’t take part in such international meetings is a result of our dependence on Russia. “In fact Kocharyan is afraid that by participating in these meetings he will make Putin angry. This is the reason why he doesn’t want to do that. This behavior is very like the behavior of former heads of regional political bureaus during the communist times, when they all asked Moscow what to do”, explained V. Papazyan.
