The deputy head of the “New Times” party said that over 100 members of their party had dropped their memberships. According to our information these members, most of which are citizens of Aparan, are going to join the newly established “Union for Armenia” party. It is not clear yet as to who the leader of this party is going to be, but there are rumors that they have the NA People’s Deputy faction head Karen Karapetyan as a target. He refused to give any comments concerning the rumors claiming that after T. Torosyan becomes NA speaker he will be the most possible candidate for the vice-speaker’s position proposed by the authorities.
