Yesterday the train carrying the Russian military units from Akhalkalak region of Georgia moved from Tsalka to Azerbaijan, and later it will go to Russia through the territory of Azerbaijan. According to “ITARR-TASS” news agency, they have been informed from the deputy head of the Russian military forces in Southern Caucasus, Vladimir Kuparadze, that the train will transport 20 tanks and other units to Russia. He also said that they wouldn’t transport anything to Armenia by the first train. “We will take a part of the units to Armenia by vehicles. The first column will leave for Armenia on May 18”. According to him, all the facilities will be taken out of Akhalkalak by the end of this year and later the military base will be closed next year.
