The RA president’s secretary Viktor Dallakyan made an announcement saying that, “The president of Armenia cannot take part in the annual session of NATO in Paris on May 26-30”. The reason is the following: “The president can’t take part in the session because of his busy schedule. In that period the co-chairmen of the OSCE Minsk group will visit the region. Besides that national celebrations are on the way”. It is worth mentioning that both R. Kocharyan and I. Aliev have received invitations to attend the mentioned session. Ilham Aliem accepted the invitation, but the Armenian president didn’t. Before this Kocharyan had refused an invitation to take part in the summit of the Black Sea and Baltic countries and said that he had to take part in the board meeting of the “Hayastan” All-Armenian Fund. On May 25-30, the American, French and Russian co-chairmen of the OSCE Minsk group, Steven Mann, Bernar Fasie and Youri Merzlyakov, will visit the region. This time the co-chairmen will be accompanied by representatives of foreign affairs ministries of their countries. The US secretary deputy of the Department of State, Daniel Frid, Russian deputy minister of foreign affairs Gregory Karasin and the French deputy minister of foreign affairs will visit the region along with the delegation.
