Yesterday the parliament spread rumors that head of the “People’s Deputy” faction Karen Karapetyan will become NA speaker after Arthur Baghdasaryan resigns or the NA drops impeachment. According to our information there are two other candidates for this position: Vahan Hovhannisyan (ARF) and Tigran Torosyan (Republican). According to our sources, Tigran Torosyan will not be allowed to become speaker because their party has already been given the position of the prime minister. As for the ARF, it is impossible because they are going to be the next victim after the “Rule of Law”. “The only power that is accepted by all parties is the “People’s Deputy” faction, which is headed by Karen Karapetyan. The most possible candidate is Karen Karapetyan”, say our sources.
