On May 4, at 10:30 p.m. 26 vehicles of all the morgues of Yerevan were waiting in the cargo parking of Zvartnots airport of Yerevan. They were waiting for the bodies to arrive by plane. There were police cars there as well; they were going to escort the bodies to the morgues. Police officers had no clue as to when the plane would land, just like the victims’ relatives. They were only asking each other whether their relatives’ bodies had been found or not. In spite of the presence of police officers the drivers were afraid not to be able to control the situation and take the bodies out of the planes in the confused crowd of relatives. The plane arrived in the morning and the crowded people, along with the police and drivers took the bodies out of the plane and then drove to Heratsi street. After a while, the bodies that were brought in special boxes were in coffins already.
