According to “Reuters” news agency, the US secretary of the Department of State, Condoleezza Rice said that the US might not consider the UN Security Council to endorse sanctions on Iran to make it stop its nuclear program. “I am sure that we have many tools in our bag prepared for the Security Council. But I know and am sure that the countries in favor of our policy will agree to take certain steps if the SC doesn’t act quickly”, said Rice. She also said that Iran ignored the international community and didn’t do what it had to do. Rice also said that she hoped that Iran didn’t want to be isolated and added that those sanctions would not concern oil and gas because “there are other means too”.
