Again a wrong translation?

According to “Azatutyun” radio station, on April 25 the RA foreign affairs press secretary Hamlet Gasparyan said that the RA president didn’t have any official visits planned for the US. He said this after the Turkish “Zaman” newspaper published an interview with deputy minister of foreign affairs, Arman Kirakosyan, on April 24. According to the newspaper the Armenian diplomat said that after the visit of Aliev the RA president would probably visit the US as well. “I think it is a result of wrong translation or they just changed his words around. In his interview given to “Zaman” newspaper the diplomat spoke not about visiting the US right after the visit of Aliev, but rather about possibilities of such visits generally in case of keeping good relations”, says Hamlet Gasparyan. In fact, in his interview Mr. Kirakosyan answered to a question asking whether the fact that Armenia wants to open its borders with Turkey meant that Armenia agreed with the 1921 Kars agreement, and thus as well as the borders agreed thereby, and said, “Who said that we don’t agree with the agreement of Kars?” Later the deputy minister said that Armenia hasn’t officially announced yet that it doesn’t agree with that agreement.
