According to Prime Minister of Karabagh Anushavan Danielyan, Karabagh’s GDP has gone up two-fold during the past four years.
“If it goes at this rate, we will reach success in a couple of years,” said the prime minister.
During the government session, the prime minister complained about the work done by the governmental departments and the heads of communities. She says that they don’t care about the state.
“I don’t see teamwork in the economic field,” said A. Danielyan.
Danielyan also touched upon the “Millennium Challenges” program and stated that 146 million dollars of the total amount will be used for solving problems concerning irrigation in Armenia. She is of the opinion that this will help Armenia harvest more crops and leave Karabagh out of competition. She blames those who are against the irrigation projects in Karabagh for that. Danielyan calls them “oligarchs” who do everything they can to make the price for land go down so they can “get all the land at cheap prices”.
