The Indian Embassy in Armenia refused to give any information concerning the tragic death of Indian student of Yerevan Medical University, Prashant Anchalia yesterday. As for the rally organized by Indian students studying in Armenia, all we got from the embassy officials was “No comment”. The Medical University administration is seriously disappointed about the announcement of the Indian deputy Ambassador, who says that the university is the one responsible for the incident. According to deputy rector of the Medical University and head of the international relations department, Ervand Sahakyan this announcement made by the deputy Ambassador served as a firm basis for the Indian students to organize a rally and take serious actions. They also plan on protesting to the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
