Head of the “Armenian Navy Band”, ethno-jazz musician Arto Tunjboyajyan and member of the famous “System of a Down” rock group, Serj Tangyan, are going to implement a joint project. The new project will be called “Serart-2”. They recorded the first Serart several years ago. This new recording doesn’t have anything to do with the “Armenian fleet” and SOAD and this is a project being done through the combined efforts of the two musicians. As for the name Serart, it is the combination of the first parts of their names. Once Serj Tangyan said that this name combines two things which he appreciated very much: ser and arvest (love and art in Armenian).
