Evans will not be in politics

According to publisher of the “California Courier” newspaper Harut Sasunyan, it is expected to not only call back U.S. Ambassador in Armenia, but also remove him from the political field for recognizing the Armenian Genocide.

“According to my sources, which are pretty accurate, they are not only changing his position, but also removing him from politics. Let’s hope that Ambassador Evans will draw special attention to the Armenian Genocide, for which he lost his job, when writing his memoir,” said Harut Sasunyan during an interview with the “Azatutyun” radio station.

According to him, John Evans “recognizes the truth, is a friend to the Armenian people and friends should not stay quiet”. Sasunyan adds that a march will soon take place to lend a helping hand to Evans.

“With the march, we are showing our humanism, but the issue is much more complicated because by defending one person, we are defending our issue,” said H. Sasunyan in closing.
