According to the head of “New Times” party, Aram Karapetyan, the majority of Armenian political powers are western-oriented, but the West doesn’t have its candidate to nominate in Armenia during the presidential elections yet. “Before they used to target Arthur Baghdasaryan, but we saw what happened later”, said Karapetyan. According to him, the best proof is what happened during the parliamentary voting of the governmental privatization program. According to him, the only candidate for the president’s position from the governmental powers is Serj Sargsyan.
