Who are you guys?

On Sunday Tigran Karapetich organized a rally near the Matenadaran with the purpose of, as he says, talking about patriotism. At first sight, this may seem absurd, but in fact with this he wanted to demonstrate how big of an electorate he has, who have always been with him no matter what he has organized. He wanted to prove to some people that citizens will listen to him in case he calls them on. In fact this rally was to show the authorities how many votes they have and how many votes he can have during the upcoming elections. Of course we don’t think that he had actually called all those people to “speak about nationalism” because he owns a TV channel and can always do this whenever he wants. But based on the number of people gathered that day we may assume that Tigran Karapetyan was disappointed. There were only about 3500-4000 people there. Soon a lot of parties will start organizing rallies and meetings. Some of those parties want to demonstrate how many votes and how big of an electorate they have and some others want to demonstrate to the US, Russia and others how powerful they are in the country. For instance according to our information several months ago Arthur Baghdasaryan proudly told American politicians that he could take thousands of people with shirts with the name of their party on them to streets to demonstrate how many followers they have. As we know the “Rule of Law” publishes and distributes 30,000 copies of their party’s official newspaper and gives it to people for free. We will not be surprised one day to find out that Arthur Baghdasaryan has said that they have 30.000 followers. Anyway, the opening of the season of rallies was done by Tigran Karapetyan, let’s wait and see who the next one will be.
