Candidate for the State University rector’s position, deputy rector Edward Chubaryan has refused to be in this position on temporary basis. Regarding this he says, “I will leave from the country for several days and I will not be here”. As for why he has decided to leave the country in this busy period and whether it is worth to leave this position due to these three days, he says that this is his own business. He presented a written application to the ministry on April 7 and says that this position will be temporarily given to the next deputy rector, Aram Simonyan, “I was informed in the ministry that he is going to be the next to work in this position temporarily”. As for the ministry, yesterday they hadn’t made any decisions to appoint someone in this position yet.
