Against “Brandy”

02/04/2006

Head of the “Great Valley” brandy company, MP Tigran Arzakantsyan has bought a brandy company in France. According to him he has bought a factory in France in order to be able to use the word “Cognac” on their brand. He says that consumers are used to the word “Cognac” and usually don’t use the word brandy when they refer to cognac. They only use this word on their brand only if a European company gives them permission to do so. Now he can give this permission to his own company.
