The Azerbaijani tourism and culture ministry has appealed to Eurovision with a complaint letter based on the fact that Armenian singer Andre has stated his birthplace as Nagorno Karabagh. The minister writes in his letter that this can be considered as disregard to Azerbaijani people and their territorial integrity on the part of the organizers of Eurovision. It is also written in the letter that the entire world is following the process of negotiations with the participation of the OSCE co-chairmen and these kinds of activities may hinder the process.
