The Russian military forces and troops located in Armenia do not intend on threatening any third country in the region. This was announced by head of the Collective security agreement Nikolay Bordyuja. “The presence of Russian troops in the region not only proves that Russia protects its interests, but also the fact that Russia protects its partners as well”, said Mr. Bordyuja. According to him the purpose of this military presence in the region is only not to let any ineligible developments take place in the region. “But this doesn’t mean yet that the 102th troop will act against any third country of the region. The problem is that Caucasus is not a stable region and there may be developments out of the interests of states”, said Bordyuja. According to him there may be serious terrorist acts in the region when the forces will not be able to act in a duly manner and there may be a need for a real military force. It is worth mentioning that Mr. Bordyuja visited Armenia yesterday and is going to stay here for two days.
