For several days now, a certain group of people wearing white gowns have been walking around in villages pretending to suffer from the bird flu and kidnapping the villagers’ chicks. According to our sources, these people lie to villagers, saying they’re going to take the hens and chicks to expertise and thus take a great number of those with them. Such cases were registered in Aramus, Getashen, Akunk villages of Kotayk and Dalar, Aygestan, Ditak, Jrashen, Zovashen villages of Ararat. Yesterday the swindlers began to work in Noubarashen community of Yerevan as well, where they succeeded in taking 40 hens from one resident. The swindlers gave special tickets to villagers and said that they could be reimbursed for their hens in the banks. When the bank employees saw those tickets, they laughed at the naiveness of villagers and told them that those were fake tickets. Only after this the chick owners realized that they were deceived. It’s surprising that a criminal case is not brought after all this.
